When you get 9,999,999 coins maxing the coin counter you will unlock an alternate 'Title' screen where the Mario statue will now be a Tanooki Mario Statue.
When you complete the Castle stage in World 1 this feature will become available.
To get access to the secret rainbow levels, you have to jump on the flagpole when the timer shows the correct time. If done correctly you will hear the original NES world cleared music followed by fireworks and a rainbow. When you return to the world map the entrance to the secret rainbow level will appear at the entry point of each world on the far left. Secret rainbow levels contain no enemies but plenty of coins and eventually golden flower power-ups.

Jump on the flagpole when the timer ends with 11.
Secret Rainbow Level in World 2:
Jump on the flagpole when the timer ends with 22.
Secret Rainbow Level in World 3:
Jump on the flagpole when the timer ends with 33.
Secret Rainbow Level in World 4:
Jump on the flagpole when the timer ends with 44.
Secret Rainbow Level in World 5:
Jump on the flagpole when the timer ends with 55.
Secret Rainbow Level in World 6:
Jump on the flagpole when the timer ends with 66.

Mario will no longer wear his hat during gameplay when you reach Triple Crown lives (1,110 lives).
As in Mario on the NES you go to the first Star Coin in Mushroom World - Level 1 and then stand on top of the stairs. When the Noko Noko appears, go down to the second or third step. Once the Noko Noko reaches you, jump (not stomp) on it. If done correctly the Noko Noko will bounce off the wall, but Mario will keep jumping on it. Note: If you try this as Golden Mario, the Noko Noko will disappear after 25 hits.
If you collect 1 million coins a title screen featuring a gold Mario surrounded by plenty of coins will become unlocked.
Complete the game by beating Bowser in World 6 to be able to play as Luigi in the game's Single-Player mode. Then, at the 'File' select screen hold down the L and R buttons while selecting a file with the A button. If done correctly Luigi will be your selected character.

Go to the first castle on w-1 and go in the door with tge control pad on it and when theres no bricks there go into the right side and there will be a pipe go in it and you will be on the top of the castle and there will be a pole there witch you can finish on.
Go to World 2-4 as Gold Mario and go into that pipe under the Pokey and bounce on the Goombas to get lots of coins!
HINT: Hit the Gold Ring for double points!
First you need to get luigi by beating the game is what I like to do then go to coin rush hold l and r as you play as golden raccoon mario after you beat that version of the game and save then you go to regualar version of the game go to red dotted levels and the power appears right in front of you.does not include doing over and over again.
All you have to do is go to world 1 level 4 and if you jump in the right place at the beggining of the level a box will appear and out of the box will come a 1up, once you find this, KILL your character, after repeating this process ~5 times a white racoon hat(assist box) will apear, again get the 1up and then instead of killing yourself, play the level(PS. Your Invincible) you should a couple lives through the level and if you run and fly at the flagpole to get to the top and you will get another 1up, etc... Do this again and again until you have the desired amount of lives.
